ALERT: Fraud Alert: Emerging social engineering combined with technology tactic
We are aware of an emerging fraud tactic in which threat actors use a combination of social engineering and technology to gain remote access to a user's computer or mobile device. Please remain vigilant by exercising caution with unsolicited calls, emails, or requests for access, never allowing unknown individuals to remotely access your computer or mobile device, and reporting any suspicious activity immediately. Be alert to scams involving bank impersonation and remote access requests. Do not click unknown links or grant workstation access to unverified individuals and report any suspicious activity immediately.
